Eagle Project – Seth Walczak

June 9, 2018 @ 9:00 am – June 16, 2018 @ 3:00 pm
Darby Glen Subdivison

For my Eagle Scout Service Project, my last and largest requirement for my Eagle Rank, I am planning to lead the construction and installation of three benches which will be placed along a nearby neighborhood bike path in Darby Glen subdivison. The largest part of the project–actually doing it–is approaching rapidly, and I would appreciate any and all help in completing this project.

The following is a list of all dates and shifts during which work will be done on this project. Feel free to sign-up for one or multiple shifts. All shifts are three hours in length and all our count towards service hours.

The tasks appropriated for each day are as follows (please bring work gloves and eye protection if possible):

June 9th: Cut, assemble, sand benches

June 10th: Apply polyurethane coats

June 16th: Transport and install benches (at Darby Glen bike path)

Dress in work clothes and be prepared to possibly get dirty. Snack and drinks will be provided. Any and all help on this project is much appreciated.

Thanks – Seth W.
