Here’s an announcement about our next exciting campout –
a Bicycling Campout!

September 9 to 11, 2016
Camp Friedlander

581 Ibold Rd, Loveland, Ohio

About the Campout
It’s time to hit the trail – the bike trail. Activities include bicycling, hiking, cooking, and camping. Plus, scouts will learn how to ride safely, cycling first aid, how to maintain and repair their bikes, how to plan rides, and much more. Whether you’re a bicycling beginner or a seasoned rider this campout is for you. We will take ability levels into consideration and use the scouting buddy system. This campout will count towards rank requirements or cycling merit badge.

Depart:
Friday, September 9, 2016
5:30 p.m. – Hilliard Presbyterian Church

Return:
Sunday, September 11, 2016
Noon – Ackerman Eye Center, 4555 Cemetery Road, Hilliard

Cost:
To be determined after campout.
Near $30 range.

What to Bring:
•BSA Permission Slip – Signed

•BSA Medical Form up to date
(Annual form must up to date and submitted to Scoutmaster)

Gear:
•Bicycle: good working order (If you do not have a bike contact Mr. Morris.)
•Helmet: fits correctly (If you do not have a helmet contact Mr. Morris.)
•Water Bottle for Bike: (attached to bike or in a small daypack while biking)
•Sunscreen (50+ preferred)
•Rain Gear: If you do not have rain gear you will not participate. A poncho will do.
